Family and Pets

After 22 agonizing days without our pets (Lupe and Simon), we were reunited at long last on May 21st. My Mom, sister Jenny, and Aunt Tina were oh so kind as to escort our two babies on a 6 hour flight from Michigan to San Francisco to make this happen. This was no small feat. Lupe is a puker, and Simon hates his bag and will claw, bite, and thrash to get out of it any way he can. But luckily, all went off without a hitch and once our pets were safely in our arms we hit the ground running for a whirlwind 3-day tour of San Francisco.

Who's that at my door?

Mom, Jenny, and Tina on Chestnut Street.

Us at Fisherman's Wharf.

After an eight month absence, I saw on the news that the sea lions had returned to Fisherman's Wharf that morning. They were quite entertaining.

Daytime drinks in North Beach. It is happy hour everywhere.

Hold on Sue! The hills kicked our asses.

Alcatraz was amazing. Tina bought the entire gift shop.

This is us in the recreation yard. Creepy and depressing.

Riding the cable cars.

Wine in Dolores Park. Getting tipsy!

A picnic at Baker Beach.

Sutro Baths. Tina wanted a picture as proof that she climbed these stairs.

It's hard to say goodbye to this little guy isn't it? He's never leaving us again.

Thanks everyone for a wonderful weekend. Maybe we drank a bit much and got a little wild... Shhhh, I won't tell.
